Capturing Peace and Serenity in Maui, Hawaii
For those of you who know me, I love taking pictures. I have loved it ever since I was a little girl and got my hands on my first camera. So when I went to Maui, Hawaii for my honeymoon last week, I had to bring along my new camera, Fujifilm X-T20 (XF 18-55mm lens) to capture some amazing beach photos.
The best photos I got from the trip were from our stroll along Maui's Wailea Coastal Walk (1.5 miles long). We almost didn't take this walk because we were running out of time, but decided to do it last minute before checking out of our hotel. It was really worth it. I got some really nice shots of the beach with super cute umbrellas in white, blue, and green. What I really wanted to capture and show in the photos was the peace and serenity of the beach. I want people to feel happy and relaxed when they see these beach photos, just like how we felt on our trip.
We stayed at the Grand Wailea Resort when we were in Maui. I have to say, it was the best spa I have ever been to. We really enjoyed the hot stone massage and Hawaiian essential oil pools.
I am always on Instagram browsing beautiful photos. Before going to Hawaii, I was especially inspired by the work of Gray Malin and Max Wanger - check out their websites for more beach photography!
Best,
